Student Of the Month

High School - Fabiano

Fabiano truly embodies what it means to be a Quest Forward student. He is self-motivated, responsible, respectful, and consistently leads by example. He shows up every day on time, prepared, and in uniform, and can always be counted on to follow through on his commitments, whether in the classroom, leadership, or extracurricular activities. Fabiano actively contributes to the school community by supporting events, helping peers, and stepping up even when others do not, all while maintaining a strong work ethic and positive attitude. His willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and go above and beyond, whether organizing events, creating materials, or even improving the campus, demonstrates his dedication to both his own growth and the success of those around him, making him a true leader and role model at Quest.

Middle School - Cruz

Cruz has been selected as Student of the Month for his kindness, strong character, and positive impact on those around him. He is a supportive and thoughtful friend to his peers, consistently contributing to a welcoming and inclusive community. Beyond this, Cruz has shown impressive initiative in exploring his passion for playwriting, dedicating time and effort to develop his creativity in a way that is both inspiring and meaningful. His willingness to pursue his interests while uplifting others makes him a valued member of the Quest community.

Parent of the Month - Terry Moore

Terry Moore is our Parent/Grandparent of the Month for April.  While we do not have a picture of her, she quietly supports us (and the QFF organization) in so many ways.  Whether it's supplies, gift cards, or simply an encouraging word, Terry shows up for both her granddaughter and our school.  Thank you, Terry, for being a part of our community!

Get Ready for End-of-Year Testing

Don’t forget, earning 2 points of growth gets you an Outdoor Ed adventure, plus other prizes like gift cards, socks, snacks, and more!

Culture, Language & Art in Action

Students in Ms. Ojeda’s Spanish classes explored Hispanic legends like Sant Jordi (World Book Day), connecting language and culture. They created Gaudí-inspired bookmarks, while students in Mr. Goodwin’s art classes are also studying Antoni Gaudí and Joan Miró to deepen their understanding of cultural expression.

History Through Stories: Learning from the Past

Students in Mr. Hoffman’s World and U.S. History classes explored World War II and The Holocaust through powerful firsthand accounts from descendants of survivors, building empathy and deeper understanding. In partnership, Ms. Baker is extending this learning in her freshman English classes with The Diary of a Young Girl, helping students connect history and literature in meaningful ways.

Students in Mr. Krukar’s 7th and 8th grade Social Studies classes are bringing history to life through hands-on learning. 7th graders are exploring world civilizations, including the Aztecs, while building collaboration and presentation skills. In 8th grade, students are studying the Industrial Revolution through an interactive assembly line activity, helping them understand factory life and its impact on society.

School-Wide Service Day

On April 21st, 7th–10th-grade students and teachers participated in a school-wide Service Day at Bohemia Grove Reserve through the LandPaths program. After a rewarding one-mile uphill hike into the reserve, students supported land stewardship efforts by building burn piles from cleared vegetation, an important part of forest management that helps reduce wildfire risk. It was a full day of hands-on work, teamwork, time in nature, and fun!
